About Wazzie’s little Adventure – Wombat Kids’ Story Book

This is a cute wombat kids’ story book. In short, it’s a story about Wazzie the wombat. Firstly, he is still living in his mother’s pouch. After that, he grows older and the pair is leaving their burrow, so Wazzie can learn what to eat. Later on, a dingo in the distance scares them. They run quickly back to their tunnel. Wazzie is learning about tunnelling as well as protecting their burrow by placing cube poos around the entrance. This wombat children’s book includes Bluey the kookaburra from Who is Laughing?

Details about Wazzie’s little Adventure

A wombat mother emerges from her burrow. Wazzie is still living in her pouch. She needs to eat for her joey to grow strong.

Wazzie is ready for venturing outside. His mother is looking forward to teaching Wazzie what he needs to know about being a wombat. Therefore, the wombats are leaving their burrow to find food. Wazzie is learning about what and how to eat.

Later, the pair gets a fright from a dingo in the distance. They, other wombats, and kangaroos, disappear quickly. Back at the burrow, mum teaches Wazzie to dig tunnels. He is trying to dig and gets covered in sand. The wombat joey is learning that their cube poos are marking their territory around the burrow entrance.

On their way again, Wazzie sees cockatoos and a kookaburra. They are sitting on tree branches. Bluey is a character from my previous book Who is Laughing?

An emu is strolling by with his chicks. Mum is explaining that they can run really fast. She is encouraging them to test how fast they can run home.

This wombat kids’ story book includes illustrations of beautiful native plants, as well as a variety of wildlife.
