The author & illustrator Eva-Marie Welsh is the creator of Australian wildlife children’s picture story books.
Her website – evabooks – is the imprint for all existing and further publications. Eva-Marie is proud to announce, that her books are Australian Made & Owned.
Eva-Marie was born in 1965 in Hamburg, Germany. After finishing her degree in Management and Supervision in Hospitality, her adventurous spirit made her take the step to emigrate to Australia in 1989.
Eva is the mother of four children and lives in tropical Mission Beach in North Queensland, Australia.
As well as writing and illustrating children’s books, she works as a teacher’s aide. She has also volunteered for various organisations such as Rotary and the State Emergency Service. Her passion for people, animals and nature inspire her to write and illustrate books.
