Who Is Laughing

The story is about ‘Bluey’ the Laughing kookaburra, an Australian bird, (name of character suggested by Bob Irwin on World Cassowary Day in Mission Beach, Australia) which is surprising and sometimes annoying other birds with his laughter. In the end Bluey gets disturbed by the calling noises of the curlew.

Other featuring birds are the frogmouth, rainbow lorikeets, cockatoos, paradise kingfisher and a scrub turkey. Cassy, from my first book is reappearing.

The book has some educational facts, is funny and has beautiful artwork which includes eucalyptus tree (gum tree), evodia tree and the pandanus.
